Your privacy is important to the Stable of Stars Racing Club Pty Ltd (ABN – 58 621 668 184). This policy covers how we collect, use, disclose, transfer and store your information.

Personal identification information

Personal information is data that can be used to uniquely identify or contact a single person. Stable of Stars Racing Club may collect personal identification information from members in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when members visit our website, register on the website, book a Race Day Trip or Tour, subscribe to a newsletter, respond to a survey, fill out a form, enter a competition, and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our website.

Members may be asked for, as appropriate and not limited to; name, email address, mailing address, phone number/s, departure preferences for tours, age, and postcode. We will collect personal identification information from Members only if they voluntarily submit such information to us.

Members can always refuse to supply personal identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain website related activities or to purchase trips, tours and products that we may offer. Personal information may be asked for in the above circumstances by us or by our 3rd party booking partner – Humanitix. We are comfortable that the Humanitix Privacy Policy is compatible with our own and affords our members and passengers at a minimum, a similar level of protection as this policy.

How we use collected information

Stable of Stars Racing Club may collect and use member’s personal information for the following purposes:

To improve customer service: Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.
To personalise user experience: We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our members as a group use the services and resources provided on our website.
To improve our website: We may use feedback you provide to improve our products and services.
To process bookings: We may use the information passengers provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.
To send confirmation and follow up emails following a Race Day Trip or Tour booking

To send members information about topics/tours we think will be of interest to them.

Newsletter Subscriptions

We aim to keep you informed about the various activities and latest news from Stable of Stars Racing Club, principally via our range of email newsletters. Each newsletter will be sent weekly, fortnightly or monthly at the discretion of the Stable of Stars Racing Team.

The principle types of newsletters that we will send you include:

Our Stable Newsletter – with news about membership of the Club, the stable of racehorses, our trainers, our educational and behind-the-scenes news and anything else relative to being a member. Typically this newsletter shall be sent once a week
Our Race Day Tours & Trips Newsletter – with news about our upcoming Race Day Trips with associated special offers for members. Typically this newsletter shall be sent once a week
Our Sporting Tours & Events Newsletter – with news about our upcoming sporting tours and events, along with associated special offers for members. Typically this newsletter shall be sent once a week.
Our Group 1 Member Special Offers Newsletter – with discounts and special offers from our partners and Corporate Group 1 Members. Typically this newsletter shall be sent fortnightly.

Members may unsubscribe to any or all newsletters at any time. There will be an unsubscribe option provided in any email newsletter that the member receives.

How we protect your information

Stable of Stars Racing Club adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information. No personal information is stored on the website.

Sharing your personal information

Stable of Stars Racing Club will never sell, trade, or rent members personal identification information to others.

We may share generic aggregated demographic information, not linked to or disclosing any personally identifiable information, regarding visitors and members with our race club partners, business partners, trusted affiliates and advertisers for the purposes outlined above.
